Our client, a large well established law firm is looking to recruit a Secretary to work within their Private Wealth Department.  Candidates will have excellent secretarial and administrative skills and be highly organised.  The successful candidate will ideally have a solid background in Private Wealth to include Tax, Trusts, Probate and Wills.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    * Assisting any Fee earner work requirements

    * Organising post

    * Telephone management

    * Typing & administrative work including dictations

    * Filing & file management,

    * Diary management

The candidate will need to be able to work effectively on their own as well as part of a team.

70% of the role the candidate will work on their own, 30% as part of a team.

SKILLS, COMPENTANCIES & EXPERIENCE:

    * Strong IT skills - knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook

    * Minimum typing speed of 75wpm

    * Knowledge and experience of the dictation software Bighand preferable.

    * Reliable

    * Organised

    * Enthusiastic

    * Excellent interpersonal skills

    * Accurate
    * Must have a legal background - preferably Private Client

Salary:£20,750 - £25,000
Package: Health Insurance, Life Assurance, Pension & 25 days holiday
Hours: Full Time
Location: Cobham, Surrey
